Perfect for going to a game at Maracana

The location for going to a game at Maracana is unsurpassed.

Bar has never been open while I have stayed there, although you can buy bottles in the reseption. There was a hosting of a party, likely for a baptism in the common area outside which ment the only common area available was off limits for all other guests for the duration.

Very close to Maracana Stadium

Very close to Maracana Stadium I watched 2 games there. These games finished at PM9 and 11. I was scared to come back to this hostel alone, however, the location is perfect. We don't need taxi to back here. Public order around here is good. Staffs can speak English and they are very friendly! If you have a plan to watch a football game in Maracana, this hostel is good for you.

great staff, not very clean place...i preferred to use the toilets in the airport than the hostel

We booked this room due to it's location close to...

We booked this room due to it's location close to Maracanã Stadium prior to a concert. We were able to be back at our hotel within minutes of the concerts completion. The hosts were great and very welcoming, and gave us an extremely early check in so we could sleep after an overnight flight prior to attending the concert. The room is very basic, but good for one night.

The air conditioner was not really working correctly so the room got very hot and stuffy. We were also charged twice what Bookings.com said we would be as it turned out to be a charge per person rather than per room. Not sure if this is bookings.com's mistake or the hosts. We didn't argue as the early check in was ideal for our situation, and the room was not expensive.

Location for those like us going to a football game at...

Location for those like us going to a football game at Maracana stadium is unbeatable. View of the stadium from the rooftop terrace is spectacular and gave plenty photo opertunities Short walk to stadium for the game. Staff was very helpful showing us local parking facilities (R$ 30 per night, independant service) It was so nice having a beer at the pool and relaxing the whole afternoon untill the game. Be adviced while you can purchase beer and enjoy it at the hostel here, the bars in the area don't serve alcohol on game day so this is pretty much the only option.

Just be aware that this is not a hotel while the standard is pretty good. This being a hostel means tidying up after yourself andcleaning any plates/glasses used by the pool or at breakfast. The pool bar could have have been attended, as running to the reseption every time you needed adrink was rather tedious. PS. While this is the ultimate location for going to Maracana, it is far from where you want to be for a Rio beach vacation.

4 literas (8 camas)!! en un espacio demasiado reducido, no podíamos darnos vuelta en la pieza porque chocábamos la cama de la compañera y esta sonaba, deberían ser colo 3 literas por pieza

Buena relación precio/calidad.

Muy bueno el lugar. Linda vista, muy céntrico y atención muy buena de parte de los miembros de su staff. Iría nuevamente.

El aire acondicionado solo funciona desde las 20:00 hasta las 08:00. Podría funcionar por un poco mas de tiempo.
